After outgo the mid-'70s travelling through Europe and India, he studied ethnic humanities at UCLA, returning to Tokyo to learn Educational Theories at Toyoeiwa Woman's University. He issued his debut solo album, Sign of the Snow Crane, in 1989, followed finally by 1995's Wind, 1997's Tribal Mozart, and its 1999 protraction, Tribal Schubert. In 2002 the atmospherical Bamboo was released, and three long time subsequently came Stone Monkey, which featured his shakuhachi assorted with breakbeats. In 2006, some other record for his side numerical group, the Kazu Matsui Project, Pioneer, was issued. |
